Hi George...I've added the celebratepoe.com site on our Poe Community page's list of links, but if there's a link to a page about "A Visit from the Ghost of Edgar Allan Poe", please let me know so I can add it to the Poepedia page under 'Theatre':

"A Visit from the Ghost of Edgar Allan Poe" will be presented at the Geyer Center for the Performing Arts in Scottsdale Pennsylvania (about 40 miles from Pittsburgh) from May, 21- 24. The play interweaves the Poe's life and mysterious death with the complete versions of 13 Poe classics, including "The Raven," "Annabel Lee," and "The Tell Tale Heart."  Written and acted by George Bartley, the character of the "ghost of Edgar Allan Poe" also comments on how various elements of our culture that have been influenced by Poe - from Batman to The Simpsons.

George Bartley was a guide at the Edgar Allan Poe Museum in Richmond, and does a podcast at www.celebratepoe.com about the life, times, and works of Poe.  George has a graduate degree in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature in Performance from Mary Baldwin College in cooperation with the American Shakespeare Center.

It is only a short jump from being a Shakespeare nerd to being a Poe nerd.

More details to follow.
