I didn't get too far on this "Shmoop" thing - but within a few sentences I learned that Poe's sister Rosalie went insane... That's news to me! But, I'm sure it works well for the image of the mythical Poe the site has chosen to create for the masses. Why go for accuracy, when you can go for sensationalism?
