Entertaining... and very Poe-like!

I'm currently living in Boston, and I was joking about re-staging Poe's famous Boston Lyceum reading/disaster on his 200th birthday. This is the one where he was asked to present a new poem called "The Evening Star" and, instead, presented "Al Aaraaf", which he had allegedly written before the age of 20. Its obscure references and over-the-top language baffled the Boston audience and Poe later claimed it was a hoax. I'd love to pull a hoax like that on Boston these days!

On January 19th next year, I'd like to see a lot of people toasting Poe's bicentennial by doing readings of his works, creating different tributes to him in print and multimedia, having discussions about his life, the public perception of Poe as a person, etc.

What would you like to see happening on Poe's bicentennial?
